Melania Trump Turns Heads in $6,700 Purple Coat, Drawing Attention to Her Bare Legs
This week, First Lady Melania Trump started off her solo Be Best tour by visiting Tulsa, Oklahoma. This will be a three-city tour promoting her campaign.
On Monday morning she was seen looking very stylish as she walked across the tarmac at Andrews Air Force Base. For her first public appearance in two weeks, the first lady wore a coat that turned heads.
Melania Trump, 48, chose to go bare-legged while wearing a purple long belted $6,680 coat from Bottega Veneta. Underneath she added a yellow turtleneck sweater to keep out the cold.

Thank you to the teachers, leadership & students of DOVE School of Discovery in Tulsa for welcoming me today. There is great work being done! It is so important that education includes not only academics, but the importance of a strong sense of character & values. #BeBest
To her outfit, she added a unique pair of $695 yellow multicolored plaid flannel 4-inch stiletto heels from Manolo Blahnik’s fall ’18 collection. She completed her look by wearing a matching purple skirt that came over her knees.
Looking forward to visiting OK, WA and NV next week. Through #BeBest I will continue to help promote successful programs that provide children the tools and skills required for emotional, social and physical well-being.— Melania Trump (@FLOTUS) February 28, 2019
Trump was seen making her way out of her SUV and onto the waiting military plane. Her first stop on her Be Best two-day tour was the DOVE School of Discovery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Her tour will see her discussing the key points of her initiative. Be Best aims to focus on the well-being of children, online safety and anti-bullying, and opioid abuse.
After Oklahoma, the first lady will travel to Washington State, and then Nevada before returning home. This was her first public appearance in two weeks, a week ago she attended the annual Governors' Ball at the White House with her husband President Donald Trump.
Wonderful, classy, kind, sweet, caring and highly intelligent first lady! Your my favorite first lady and I wish there was fair coverage of you so we could see more often all the fabulous things you do. The silent majority is with you.— Vicky G (@vicpet5) March 4, 2019
However, her last public event was the unveiling of a healing garden at a children's hospital in Miami on President's Day. Trump took to social media to share images of her recent visit.

Last week, during congressional testimony by the former attorney for the president, Michael Cohen, he made a public apology to the first lady for his role in her husband's affair with adult film star, Stormy Daniels. As she set about on her tour she was asked by reporters if she would accept Cohen’s apology.
Trump chose to ignore the question before flying out.
