Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Introduce Their Chic Side in Matching Vintage Leather Dresses
Wearing matching clothes is one thing, but a true sense of twinning was in display when the Olsen twins step out to the red carpet in vintage leather dresses. The twins, who seldom make an appearance together, showed up and left the bystanders in awe with their attire.
Mary-kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen have magnificent prowess at the Met Gala since their first appearance in 2005. The gorgeous twins made yet another sizzling appearance at the festival and their reputation preceded them as they turned heads.
Although the theme for this year's Met Gala was "camp", the sisters chose to go with dark vintage Chanel couture looks. Truth be told, they did justice to the chic outfits.
The duo stepped out in their eye-catching ensembles and a vintage look that was nothing short of envious. Ashley donned a long coat dress paired with knee-high snakeskin boots with a hint of gold while Mary Kate flaunted a retro jacket with a floor-skimming skirt.
The former child actresses paraded similar glam with their middle parted golden locks and smokey eyes styled by their longtime stylist Mark Townsend and makeup artist Ana Marie Rizzieri.
Kate described their 32 years old relationship as a ‘Marriage and a Partnership’ as they have been through the ups and downs of life together. She added, “We have had ups and downs...We do everything together."
Kate was just about done when Mary Kate added, “We came out of the womb doing that.”
Ashley and Mary Kate also attended the WSJ Magazine Innovator awards in November, where Ashley was dressed in black while Mary Kate chose a contrasting white attire while maintaining a reputation of twinning, be it in contrast or harmony.
They were last seen attending the Youth America Grand Prix's 20th Anniversary Gala in New York City in April.
