We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.
However, now that baby Archie has arrived, will that change? Will their new status as parents affect the bond between Harry and Meghan? But before we delve into that, let's check out some evidence that shows that Harry and Meghan are indeed lovebirds.
HOW THEY MET
The Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle first met on a blind date in July 2016. "We were introduced actually by a mutual friend," Harry admitted during the couple's first interview with the BBC after the announcement of their engagement. (E! News claims Violet von Westenholz is the friend who introduced them, but others have speculated it was fashion designer Mischa Nonoo.)
Despite Harry's global popularity, Meghan says she did not have a lot of preconceived opinions about who he was before their meeting.

"Because I’m from the States, you don’t grow up with the same understanding of the royal family."
"I didn’t know much about him, so the only thing that I had asked [our mutual friend] when she said that she wanted to set us up, was, 'Well is he nice?' Cause if he wasn't kind, it just didn’t seem like it would make sense," she said during the interview.
The pair hit it off immediately. "We met for a drink," said Markle, "and then I think very quickly into that we said, 'Well what are we doing tomorrow? We should meet again.'"
PICTURES TELL THE STORY
Kensington Palace uploaded two photos of the couple to honor their engagement and they were nothing like an average royal photoshoot. The astonishing pictures, which were taken by famous fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski, shows Prince Harry and Meghan posing on the steps of Frogmore House, Windsor in what is the biggest royal PDA ever.

In a black and white shot, Harry pulls Meghan in close for a passionate embrace donning a winter coat while she rubs his cheek affectionately - just sufficient to show off the massive bling on her engagement finger. The beautiful ring, which Harry designed personally, using stone from Botswana and 2 more diamonds from his late mom's personal collection, shines in the light while Markle beams from ear to ear.
Certainly, there is an air of sensuality in the photos, but according to body language expert Elizabeth Kuhnke, it is this intense passion and "sexual bond" between Prince Harry and Meghan that will see them go the distance.
"They look so in love the way their heads are touching, the way Harry is looking down at her really shows the adoration he has for her and the care for each other that they share."
"Everything about the photos are so intimate and sensual. You can see from the way that Prince Harry wraps Meghan in his coat, you can tell that they have no discomfort in showing their passion for each other and they quite clearly have a strong sexual bond," said Kuhnke.

A huge thank you to His Royal Highness Prince Harry and Ms Markle, for allowing me to take their official engagement portraits. Not only was it an incredible honour, but also an immense privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for each other. I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took. @Kensingtonroyal
Elizabeth also says the way in which Markle is strategically sat a couple of steps below Harry as she sits cozily between his legs speaks volumes. She notes:
"They seem to really like each other and you can see that there is this mutual adoration for each other.
"The way she is sitting slightly below him and leaning into him, resting on him. They don’t have a problem showing their sexual passion for each other in the way they touch each other."

Kuhnke also claims the intimate photographs are a strong break with royal custom and their body language is more informal than the cheery hugs seen in Prince William and Kate's engagement pictures and the more formal photos taken by Prince Charles and Diana.
"Harry and Meghan aren't even looking at the camera in some of their snaps, their eyes are closed and they are so consumed in one another it's as if nobody else is watching,"
the expert said.
HARRY AND MEGHAN CONTINUE TO GROW CLOSER
In early December 2016, Meghan was snapped in Toronto wearing a gold necklace highlighting the letters “M” and “H.” Later that month, she and Harry were seen together picking out a 6-foot Christmas tree, and in London's West End holding hands on their way to watch the Tony award-winning show 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime'.

A ROMANTIC TRIP TO NORWAY
After spending New Year together in London, Harry and Meghan embarked on a romantic trip to Norway in early 2017. It was the first time that the pair would be vacationing together and according to Us Weekly, Prince Harry planned the romantic trip so that the two could catch the Northern Lights. The couple stayed with Harry's close friend, Inge Solheim, at his luxury home in Tromsø, Norway. A source tells The Sun that Prince Harry "put a lot of thought into it and wanted to make it as romantic and special as possible.”

A BIG BIRTHDAY TRIP
We again saw the bond between the royal couple when they traveled to Africa in August 2017—one year after their first journey to the continent—for a romantic getaway in celebration of Meghan's 36th birthday. Over the course of their three-week holiday, they visited Botswana and ended their travels at the stunning Victoria Falls.

"I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana and we camped out with each other under the stars," Harry said, describing the whirlwind romance. "Then we were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure that we had a chance to get to know each other."
On May 6, 2019, (less than one year after their royal wedding), the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child; Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. However, now that baby Archie has arrived, will the intense love and affection the Sussexes have for each other shift?
Well, in an interview with CheatSheet, relationship expert, April Masini has got some advice on how to make sure relationships don’t suffer once a new baby arrives. April also gives her advice for new parents Meghan and Harry.
Prince William joked about Harry and Meghan joining the “sleep deprivation society that is parenting.” What can couples do to ensure the irritability that comes along with sleep deprivation does not lead to needless arguments?

"Make sure that at least one person is sleeping (and preferably, two). Two sleep-deprived parents is going to lead to more fighting than when one has sleep and resources to be empathetic. Split up for sleep vacations — one person needs to sleep in the other room, the living room, a room that is far away enough from a night-time crying baby to get some sleep and feel refreshed. Switch off, so you both get this opportunity".
"Remember it takes two to fight, and one to be overly empathetic. As long as one of you is being overly generous with compliments, rationalizations, gifts, and appreciation, the fights will be diluted. It’s hard to avoid sleep deprivation altogether, but as long as one of you doesn’t engage the other and take the bait, the fighting will be quelled".
April highlighted that there are ways to get some relief. Nursing parents can employ a night nurse or engage mothers, siblings, or friends to do a night shift so they can catch some sleep. Even if those rendering the assistance show up at midnight and stay until 6 a.m., it'll give the nursing parents a break.
What advice will you give to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry now that they are new parents?
"They seem to have this one on lock! I think that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very well prepared for what may come, and they’ve made some non-traditional arrangements already to bolster their relationship and their new family. It seems that Meghan Markle has put her difficult relationships with her father and step-siblings on ice.
"She and her husband have prioritized relationships with supportive people, and during this delicate time, are nurturing those relationships and not responding to tough ones... Any advice I'd have would be to use all those relatives and royal resources to help support the relationship between the parents.

"Let them care for the baby so the Sussex parents can have time alone on a regular basis. Turn off social media for a while and enjoy this precious time. And prioritize the relationship between the two adults in the family because, without that, everything else crumbles and causes chaotic regrouping".
