Kate Middleton Honors Princess Diana Again by Wearing Her Gorgeous Pearl Earrings
The Duchess of Cambridge has recently attended the Queen's annual garden party and paid a very sweet tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, by wearing her earrings.
The event took place on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Buckingham Palace and was attended by over 30,000 guests. Kate Middleton, as always, was one of the figures of the day.
The beautiful mother-of-three showed up to the party wearing a fantastic pink Alexander McQueen coatdress, which she matched with a unique hat designed by Juliette Botterill.

DRESSED TO IMPRESS
To complement the outfit, the Duchess opted for a pair of nude suede pumps created by Gianvito Rossi and a clutch by famous brand Loeffler Randall.

Today The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. The Queen hosts Garden Parties as a way of recognising and rewarding public service. At today’s Garden Party The Duke and Duchess met Kerry Irving and his assistance dog Max. In 2006, Kerry’s car was hit by a truck, leaving him housebound with chronic neck and back pain. Kerry still suffers with the pain from his back injury, but he credits Max with helping him to get his life back on track. Kerry has since retrained as a locksmith and Max is always with him. Kerry and his wife Angela have held dog walks to give other people the chance to spend time with Max, and helped raise money for local rehoming centre, @EdenAnimalRescue.
However, the most stunning detail about Middleton's ensemble was the earrings that once belonged to Princess Diana, a wedding gift she received from Collingwood jewelers.
JEWELRY PROVIDED BY DIANA
It has been reported that Middleton previously wore the earrings in 2017, during a Spanish state banquet, much like other pieces that were handed to her throughout the years.
The 37-year-old was accompanied by her husband, Prince William, who also dressed up for the occasion, following the strict dress code by donning a morning dress complemented with a hat and an umbrella.
THE FUN SIDE OF THE ROYALS
The two had quite a lot of fun at the garden party and were even captured by the camera of a very happy royal fan named Lucy Stafford, who had the honor of being invited to the event.
The 19-year-old managed to snap a photo of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during a relaxed and romantic moment and didn't waste any time sharing the picture on her Instagram account.

What an incredible day! So honoured to have been invited to a garden party at Buckingham Palace. We had the most delicious afternoon tea in the gardens and even finished the day by meeting the Queen (who told us about how a cricket ball almost killed her in 1994) and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Can’t quite believe it all really happened!
According to Stafford, who had the opportunity to meet the royals, including Queen Elizabeth, they were all incredibly kind and she was even told by the monarch that, in 1994, she was almost killed by a cricket ball.
