Thomas Markle Reportedly Calls Lifetime Movie 'Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal' a 'Dumb Fiction'
Prince Harry's father-in-law, Thomas Markle, is finding the "Harry and Meghan: Becoming Royal" film a bitter pill to swallow. He reportedly described it as a "Dumb Fiction."
It also shows the strain in the father-daughter relationship between Meghan Markle and her daddy, Thomas Markle. In the drama, both Charlie Field and Tiffany Marie Smith play the royal couple, and they are seen talking over the phone with Meghan's dad.
They appear sympathetic to his health condition, which he said restrained his attendance to their wedding via the papers. He continually gives audience to the media by granting a series of interviews. His daughter only learned of his "heart palpitation" through the media.
Thomas however, is not down with how his character was made to appear, as he shared with TMZ that he was a victim of heart surgery and that he had no intentions of being absent at his daughter's wedding!
He regarded the movie as a "dumb fiction." The Duchess of Sussex had Prince Charles to the rescue, as he walked her down the aisle. Furthermore, there have been a series of other exciting events in the lives of the Royals following their "I dos."
A few weeks ago they both welcomed a new bundle of joy, and named him, Archibald Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The pair updated their Instagram handle with an image of their son, the Queen, and the Duke of Edinburgh.
The caption read:
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce that they have named their first born child. Archibald Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty the Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. The Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess' mother were also present for this special occasion."
The wedding was not the only thing Granddaddy missed; some sources stated that he will not be seen around the Royals for a while since both parties are now estranged.
However, Meghan has had a strong and supportive mother all the way! While Thomas may not be in good terms with the couple, he never misses an opportunity to discredit the Royals, and seems unrelenting in conversing with the media; the new parents notwithstanding are having the best time of their lives.
