The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share some new photographs of their family as they visited the RHS Back to Nature Garden at the #ChelseaFlowerShow on Sunday afternoon. The photographs were taken by @mattporteous. The #RHSChelsea Back to Nature Garden, designed by The Duchess and award-winning landscape architects Andrée Davies and Adam White of Davies White Landscape Architects, is a woodland setting for families and communities to come together and connect with nature. Her Royal Highness is a strong advocate for the proven benefits the outdoors has on physical and mental health, and the positive impact that nature and the environment can have on childhood development in particular. Over the past months, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have helped The Duchess gather moss, leaves and twigs to help decorate @The_RHS Back to Nature Garden. Hazel sticks collected by the family were also used to make the garden’s den. The Duchess told Monty Don in an interview for the BBC: “I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young children. I really hope that this woodland that we have created really inspires families, kids and communities to get outside, enjoy nature and the outdoors, and spend quality time together.”

THE CHEEKY PRINCE

In the first post, the little Prince wore the England soccer team jersey by Nike; he lay on the grass with his left hand across his chest and laughed heartily while displaying his missing tooth.

Kensington Palace revealed in the caption that the photograph was taken recently by Middleton at the garden of their home at the Palace. The caption also read that the Duke and Duchess are excited to share new photos of their first child with the public.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCE GEORGE

In the second post, George posed standing; he leaned on a wooden platform dressed in a green polo on blue and white striped shorts. The caption noted that the Duchess equally took the photo during a family vacation.

Kensington Palace thanked the public on Prince William and Middleton’s behalf for their birthday wishes, and many took to the comment section to write on how adorable their son looked.

The birthday portraits are in line with the royal tradition, and this is the first time the parents-of-three are releasing photos that were not taken by a professional photographer.

In 2018 and 2017, the royals used professional photographers' Matt Porteous and Chris Jackson, respectively, and the photos are part of the royals' "Family special album."

A TIDBIT ON THE LITTLE PRINCE

Born on July 22, 2013, at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital, the little Prince, got introduced to the world a day after his birth in the arms of his mother, with Prince William by her side.

He is Queen Elizabeth’s great-grandson, and the third in line to the British monarchy after his grandfather, the Prince of Wales, and his father, Prince William. Prince George is a tennis fan like Middleton, and Roger Federer, once said that the cute little boy has a “Good aim.”

The young Prince is currently on vacation with his family at the Caribbean Island, Mustique, and in September, he’ll return to Thomas Battersea School, where he’ll commence his second year, before moving to middle school.
