"Today" show's Al Roker is living his dream quite literally in a home he had always wanted. But the weather anchor and his wife Deborah Roberts are also blessed with another beautiful home. Let's take a look.

During the novel coronavirus pandemic, people got a deeper glimpse into the lives of various television show hosts like Al Roker, who anchors the weather on the "Today" show.

The 66-year-old spent most of his time quarantining with his family "five minutes from the Massachusetts line," but returned to his dream home in the middle of Manhattan when social distancing regulations eased.

BEAUTIFUL BROWNSTONE

More than 15 years ago, Roker made his dream come true when he purchased a beautiful brownstone in Manhattan, where he lives with his wife Deborah Roberts, and their three children, Courtney, Nicholas, and Leila.

With the "Today" show's studios in New York, he lives close enough to work, but when the novel coronavirus turned pandemic, and everything closed, Roker and his wife headed to their holiday home to wait it out.

HIS 'ANTI-HAMPTONS ABODE

During an interview with Forbes, Roker jokingly referred to his Hudson River Valley holiday home as "anti-Hamptons," because one can still get away with buying a quart of milk for under $35.

Located approximately 130 miles north of New York City, the Rokers' home in Columbia County offers a breathtaking garden and a massive library in the study, making it an ideal place for the whole family to spend the required time in quarantine while he continued to work remotely.

BACK HOME AFTER SURGERY

In August, when it was safe to return to the "Today" studio, the Rokers returned to their home in Manhattan. However, the meteorologist since announced that he would be "taking some time off" after a prostate cancer diagnosis he said doctors caught early.

He soon underwent surgery to have his prostate removed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and is now back home once more.

"It's a good news-bad news kind of thing," Roker said during an episode of "Today" after receiving the diagnosis. "Good news is we caught it early. Not great news is that it's a little aggressive, so I'm going to be taking some time off to take care of this."

HE'S HAD SEVERAL HEALTH ISSUES

Roker's cancer diagnosis is the latest in several health issues he faced over the years. But the weather anchor took it all in stride, the first to joke about replacing all his body parts "one by one."

Back in 2016, Roker underwent knee replacement surgery followed by a total hip replacement in 2019 brought on by his battle with osteoarthritis.

Arthritis also caused Roker trouble in 2014, resulting in an operation on the rotator cuff in his left shoulder to relieve pain. In August, the 66-year-old's shoulder acted up again, requiring him to take a break from work.
