Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Welcome 2nd Baby - Her Name Honors the Queen & Princess Diana

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently on cloud nine as they have just welcomed their second child, a little baby girl that they decided to name Lilibet.

The wonderful news was shared through the couple's Archewell Foundation website, in a short but sweet statement where they say that they couldn't be more grateful.

According to the statement, both the baby and the mother are doing just fine. Lili was brought into the world on Friday, June 4, at 11:40 a.m. at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, in California.

Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, who weighed 7 lbs 11 oz, was named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, whose nickname is Lilibet.

They welcomed their first baby, Archie, in 2019.

The little girl's middle name was also given to her as a tribute to her late grandmother Diana, the Princess of Wales, who tragically passed away in 1997.

Following the wonderful news, Meghan and Harry issued an official statement saying how blessed they feel with their daughters' arrival. They added:

"She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

As aforementioned, this is Harry and Meghan's second child as they have welcomed their first baby, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, on May 16, 2019.
